MR660 – Multi-Axis Fiber Optic Accelerometer System

The MR660 Series Multi-Axis Fiber Optic Acceleration Sensor System provides an innovative solution for measuring vibration and movement in high voltage or hazardous environments.

Typical applications include Pantograph monitoring, Wind Turbine Blades, MRI, Transformers, Generators, Mining, and Oil & Gas.

Sensors and Controllers are available in 1-, 2-, and 3-Axis configurations. The MR660 Acceleration Sensor employs a highly sensitive MEMS membrane to provide a robust system capable of producing an output signal of 100mV/g pk-pk with a -3dB bandwidth of 0.5Hz to 1100Hz.

Optical Cable Assemblies For Use With MR330/MR340/MR380 Series Sensors
Micronors MR398 series fiber optic cable assemblies offer a turn-key solution for deploying Micronor sensor products in a broad range of environments.

They offer cable options depending on the nature of the application:

  • T2X series are low cost, commercial-grade zip-style cables for benign environments and inside cabinets.
  • M2X series are rugged, indoor/outdoor/MilTac grade cables for Duplex-LC links
  • H2X series are rugged, indoor/outdoor/MilTac grade cables for ODVA IP-LC links

The Polyurethane (PUR) jacketed M2X and H2X cable options offer exceptional abrasion, cut, chemical, and UV resistance. These cables can be deployed in traditional cable tracks and raceways but are rugged enough to be clamped directly to equipment surfaces. Each of Micronors MR398 series fiber optic cable assemblies are crush resistant, flexible, resilient and offer exceptional mechanical protection for the internal fibers.
