MTX is the brand of the Flexitron Group dedicated to the design and manufacture of routers, modems and industrial gateways for wireless communication GSM (LTE / 4G / 3G / 2G), wired (RS232, RS485, Ethernet or CAN) and short-range wireless (Bluetooth) , Wi-Fi or LoRa).

At the beginning of 2021, Flexitron Group acquired Webdyn SAS to extend its footprint in the energy transition. Today, it announce the merge of product portfolio of both Webdyn and MTX devices, as well as their corporate identity.

MTX was Flexitron Groups own line of IoT equipment manufactured in Spain, that will continue to be supplied and developed under the new name of Webdyn. Webdyn SA products will also continue to be available, now under the new corporate identity and together with previous MTX products. All future developments will be a joint effort under the new brand, which will focus on the main IoT vertical markets like Smart Grid, Smart Cities, Smart Metering, Smart Home & Building, Smart Industry 4.0, and Smart Transportation among others.

Thanks to its set of interfaces (RS232, RS485, dual SIM, digital I/O, gigabit Ethernet, GPS and WiFi) and the embedded new TITAN V6 firmware (Modbus, MQTT, IPSec, logger,…) provides a full bundle of functionalities which will fulfill all your IoT applications needs with no need for further hardware, shortening the time-to-market and providing a very cost-effective solution. As new feature, EasyRouter allows to the user to develop and run their own applications scripts (based on javascript) and giving to the end IoT application a custom style. MTX StarEnergy-E

Industrial IoT modem with LTE for metering applications

The MTX-StarEnergy-E is an innovative industrial modem that comprises a set of features specially oriented to the electric market. This powerful device allows the reading of IEC 60870-5-102 protocol meters via both IP-RS232/RS485 gateways with priority management through 2G/3G/4G-LTE networks, as well as CSD calls. The MTX-Star-Energy-E also monitors the presence of the meter by sending an alarm in case of no detection.
