 The HPT100 is a second generation pipeline integrity testing tool that provides real time measurements and data logging during a hydrostatic or pneumatic pipeline test. The HTP100 reduces costs, set up time, and uses advance technology delivering ultimate, real-time reporting capabilities including data logging, exportable test logs, user configurable inputs and multiple engineering units making the HPT100 an essential tool for any pipeline tester. Powered by readily available 12VDC the HPT100 and a battery backup will record hours of uninterrupted test results.

Meriam Manometers have many advantages in this age of technology because of their inherent accuracy and simplicity. Manometers are unique in being both pressure measurement instruments and standards for calibration of other instruments. The manometer is commonly used to measure pressures ranging from as high as 100 inches of 2.95 Red Fluid (10.65 PSI) to the lowest vacuums of space and assist with calibrating pressure. Manometers are available in varying designs depending upon application:

U-Tube Manometers
The U-tube manometer is the basic and most widely used style of manometer. The Meriam U-tube manometer is a versatile, economical instrument for the measurement of pressures, vacuums or differential pressures. Pressure measurements are accomplished by balancing a vertical head of indicating fluid with the pressure to be measured.

Well Type Manometers
Well manometers are a direct reading device designed for process monitoring, general purpose production testing or laboratory measurement. Designed for a maximum line pressure of 250 PSI (500 PSI optional) these instruments may also be used for tank level, flow measurement and leak detection.

Inclined Manometers
Inclined manometers provide greater readability by stretching a vertical differential along an inclined indicating column, giving more graduations per unit of vertical height. This effectively increases the instruments sensitivity and accuracy. Scales are typically graduated to the hundredth of an inch.

Meriam manufactures the widest range of Averaging Pitot Tubes for gases, liquids and steam with bi-directional flow capability. Under the Accutube brand name, there are four standard models; Inline, Insertion, Flanged and Wet Tap which can provide a flow solution for your toughest applications.

Meriam offers a wide variety of mechanical and digital pressure gauges for process measurement and indication. Excellent accuracy specifications and little-to-no temperature effect set these instruments apart from the competition. Many of our digital gauge products have multiple output options to increase their versatility in today’s changing control schemes. Mechanical gauges have been the reliable standard in pressure measurement and still have their place in today’s industrial environment.

Considered the most common primary element, Meriam’s concentric orifice plates are precision bored to exact dimensions with a sharp upstream edge to ensure accuracy. Pair this up with an orifice flange to provide a convenient, accurate method for installing orifice plates.

951 Orifice Plate

The most common primary flow element is the concentric orifice plate, often called the “sharp-edged” orifice plate. Its main advantages are: low cost, accuracy, ease of installation, variety of construction material and quick delivery. Much test data has been compiled about orifice plates and, with the necessary information, an exacting design can be made providing for excellent metering accuracy.

Engineered for each application, Meriam Orifice plates are precision bored to exact dimensions with a sharp upstream edge to ensure accuracy. Orifice information is stamped on the unique handle. This handle is designed to facilitate storage of the plate without damage to the orifice bore. Pair a Meriam orifice plate with an orifice flange to provide a convenient, accurate method for installing orifice plates.

 952 Orifice Flange

Meriam raised-face orifice flange unions are designed to provide a convenient, accurate method for installing orifice plates. They incorporate accurately positioned pressure taps for connecting the flow measuring instruments. This eliminates the requirement of locating pressure taps in the field. Improper location of these taps will result in poor accuracy of the flow measuring system. These built-in taps also reduce field installation labor necessary for welding, drilling and/or tapping pressure taps on the flow line itself. Meriam orifice flanges are provided complete with nuts, bolts, gaskets and plugs for installation with no other parts required.
