MasTec Ltd is pleased and delighted to announce the purchase of Jenlogix Ltd.
Both MasTec and Jenlogix have both been operating for over 35 years in Auckland, NZ. Both companies supply a vast array of technology products to the NZ and Global markets. Jenlogixs will now operate from the MasTec building in 1/7 Torrens Rd, Burswood, Auckland.
Jenlogix as a division of MasTec Ltd will continue to provide its broad range of industrial products and services to New Zealand and international markets, with no significant changes. Jenlogix will continue to offer its current industrial technology suppliers product lines.
The current team at Jenlogix will remain intact with Keith Swasbrook as the GM and Business Development Manager and Simon Penman in Technical Support.
Rob Maskell, Director of MasTec says, The acquisition of the Jenlogix business creates a number of synergies and growth opportunities for both MasTec and Jenlogix. Customers for both companies will enjoy a greatly expanded range of products and technical services.
Jenlogix Division
Since 2014 Jenlogix has worked in the special vertical market of sales, support and services of the Palert Seismic monitoring system with dozens of sites around the globe. Some of Jenlogix international clients include a Light Rail Network in Indonesia, dairy and mining companies in North and South America with more coming online this year.
In New Zealand there are about 350 Palert sensors located on both islands. The Palert systems are used by KiwiRail, Councils, Universities, Power Generation, Banking, Private business, Ports and Airports, Hospitals etc.
A unique and important feature of the Palert range of Seismometers is the Earthquake Early Warning (EEW) algorithm. This EEW operates like those in Japan and is based on calculations done on the quakes early P-wave. At this stage, only clients who use Palerts can benefit from the EEW.
