Although many smart wireless sensing devices have begun appearing at the edge, the majority of I/O switches, sensors, and transmitters use wired connections. Traditional remote I/O requires an industrial controller or gateway in order to propagate these signals to other systems, which limits
their availability to enterprise consumers.

By contrast, a groov RIO unit can be installed and operated independently, using its embedded software tools and protocols to share data instantly
across the organization.

groovRIO

New from Opto 22, the groov RIO®, a family of intelligent, distributed input/output (I/O) for industrial internet of things (IIoT) and automation applications.

groov RIO represents a first-in-class solution for its ability to quickly connect traditional wired switches and sensors directly to Ethernet networks, software applications, and cloud platforms without intermediary control or communication hardware, such as PLCs, PACs, or PCs.

groov RIO is the next step in transforming the industry for the industrial internet of things (IIoT), extending connected applications directly to traditional wired sensors and switches.

The first unit in the groov RIO family, GRV-R7-MM1001-10, provides 8 multi-signal, multifunction, software-configurable channels and 2 Form C relays, supporting over 52,000 unique signal combinations: analog or discrete, input or output.

Combined with Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and embedded tools for configuration, data processing, and publishing, groov RIO makes connecting I/O to cloud IoT platforms, control systems, and databases easier than ever before.

Product Feature: ITech Battery Testers

IT5100 series is a series of battery internal resistance testers with high precision, high resolution and high speed.

IT5100 adopts AC 4-terminal sensing, that means the tester can test internal resistance and voltage simultaneously with high precision. Resistance resolution is down to 0.1 µ, voltage resolution is 10 µV. Combined with external USB disk, IT5100 is available for long-term statistics calculation. Built-in comparator function, IT5100 can automatically determine whether the battery parameters meet the standards and count pass rate, which is suitable for a variety of battery`s test and pick.

Built-in GPIB / USB / LAN communication interface to support SCPI communication protocol.

Single unit of IT5102 support 16 channels batteries measurement, master- slave connection up to max.17 sets and extension channels quantity up to 272, that greatly improves testing efficiency.

Built-in LAN / RS232 communication interface, the IT5100 series can be widely applied in cellphone lithium batteries, electric vehicle batteries and other batteries inspection and sorting.

Soltec is also a leading supplier of excellent Frequency Converters > choose 50, 60, 400 HZ in or out > both single or three phase models.

MasTec supplies to Oceania many of these Soltec frequency converters each year. Typical applications are for converting NZ 230VAC 50 HZ power to USA 110VAC 60HZ or 230VAC 50HZ to 230 VAC 400HZ aircraft power or the other way around.

Almost all Soltec products can be ordered with an extra transformer to make the output Galvanically Isolated.

We have supplied models up to 20 KVA with these very heavy transformers. In labs and some factory systems this is essential for stable operation of a control system or IT system.

The large Industrial ALP UPSs are always galvanic isolated and are modular growing up to 200KV.
