Low Power Consumption
NB-IoT technology focus on the small data and small transmit speed application.So NB-IoT device power consumption can be very small, the device life can be significantly increased from few months to several years.

NB-IoT need not to re-build the network, radio and antenna are basically multiplexed.For example, like one of China network operators-China Mobile, there is a wider band in 900MHZ owned by China Mobile.Only need to allocate part of the 2G band, you can directly deploy LTE and NB-IoT at the same time. Low speed, low power consumption and narrow bandwidth also bring the advantage of low cost to NB-IoT chip and module.

IoT control sysWORXX CTR-100
Cost-effective Industry 4.0 control with connection to the cloud for installation in the vicinity of the sensor / actuator.

The sysWORXX CTR-100 is primarily suitable for use in the area of IoT and Industry 4.0. Along with this, the connection of sensors, actuators and machines to the cloud. If the dev kit is too bulky, the design of the CTR-100 can also be individually adapted and embedded directly in the target hardware. It is possible to combine the design of the CTR-100 directly on the PCB level (in DIL40 or LGA version) with one device and thus enable a direct connection to the outside, for example to any cloud solutions, control systems, etc .

The advantages of the CTR-100 lie in the area of application, security and cloud connection. Libraries and protocols such as MQTT, Modbus or CANopen are available on the chip and are immediately ready for use.

The templates and examples provided in the source code serve as a starting point for the user to make their own adjustments. Actuators and sensors can be connected directly via I²C and SPI.

This means that the entire measurement, control and regulation can also be implemented on the CTR-100. With comparable IoT devices, said processes typically take place in the cloud. The CTR-100 thus works autonomously and independently. No additional gateway is required to connect to the cloud.

Connect the physical sizes of your machine directly to the node.
The abbreviation "SRN" stands for Short Range Radio Node. The radio interface is a consistent further development of meshnet technologies towards industrial applications. The node transmits on a 2.4 GHz transmission frequency and contains an NFC antenna for provisioning.

Standard sensors with standard interfaces such as voltage interfaces from 0 ... 10V, 4-20mA, etc. can be connected directly to the node. This means that any physical quantities that I measure in the machine can be coupled to the node for forwarding to a gateway. You do not have to rely on sensors that can only transmit certain sizes, but you can use the node in a variety of ways thanks to the industrial interfaces.

Solid State Relays (SSRs)

The solid state relay will switch using a small external voltage or current signals to the gate of a semiconductor. This means that the switch can change states with no moving parts involved, which will reduce the effects of vibrations and noise on the device. This relay is only available in single pull single throw configurations; but, this can easily be corrected with an intermediate relay.


  • Consumes less power, but generates more heat
  • Can be used in virtually any position regardless of the Earth’s pull
  • Will be able to respond to control signals about 100 times faster than electromechanical relays (less than 100 micro seconds) while also preventing electrical arcs
  • Will have signals less affected by electromagnetic interference

MasTec has sold OPTO 22 SSRs since the mid 1990's - we stock in volume and sell in volume.

Opto 22 provides a full range of Power Series relays with a wide variety of voltage (110–575 volts) and current options (3–45 amps).
All Power Series relays feature 4,000 volts of optical isolation, and have a high PRV rating.

Where OPTO 22 products cannot provide a spec match and for some specialised situations we use Power-io, Crydom and other speciality companies.

OPTO 22 can switch up to 575 VAC at 45 amps in a standard hockey puck module. OPTO 22 is not so strong in DC switching and only have low current ranges. We do have other options.

If you are building machines and you need to control AC power, then hockey puck SSRs are excellent as they can be mounted directly to steel cases for heatsinks or if the current is low then use the PCB mount SSRs from OPTO 22.

For distributed SSRs use the OPTO 22 G1, G4 or SNAP products that are backplane mounted.

For DIN Rail SSRs, large SSRs with heatsinks, single and three phase and contactors plus motor starts use Power-io.
